In 1999, Sneak-Thief released his first record, featuring a song with vocals by none other than Lindsay, under the none-too-obvious alias, Lindsay-J. The next Sneak-Thief/Lindsay-J collaboration took place in 2002 and was released in December 2003 on Lasergun Records, Berlin. Lindsay also began collaborating with Michel's other project, called Polygamy Boys. | 2003 also marked Lindsay-J's first live performances with Sneak-Thief in Edmonton, Vancouver and Berlin.

Vocal Reviews:
| “Cold ways”, the first of the cuts on this 12”, grapples between italo-disco and neo-funk with a successful result, thanks to the vocals of Lindsay J who's the total hero of this track. |

| [Cold Ways is a] hybrid R`N`B-like disco and the Vocals of Lindsay-J determine simply everything ...this is a killer record whose every single track is unique.

| Lovehouse, Electrosoul, Softbeat or 2step? [The Cold Ways EP] lies somewhere in between all of that; electro - but completely different. It's extremely harmonious and beautiful. It starts with the singer Lindsay-J's magical and all-class voice; next, clear Beats (without unnecessary bells and whistles) and opportune synth melodies. It's no miracle that Sneak-Thief publishes on various labels - I want them all. Ass-shakin' guaranteed, with a smile and some groooovin...! We simply call it ' happylectro '... |
